About Our Office

Appointments
Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you must change an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so that we can offer that appointment time to another patient.

We schedule certain types of appointments at certain times of the day to best accommodate all of our patients. This system allows us the flexibility to arrange the very quick adjustments for the maximum amount of patients during the after-school and before-work times. It is unavoidable that some school will be missed. Regularly scheduled appointments book up four to six weeks in advance. Missed before-school/work or after-school appointments will be reappointed where time allows.

Office hours are:
Mondays 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tuesdays 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Wednesdays 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Thursdays 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Normally, patients are seen Tuesday through Thursday and some Mondays. Friday is a non-patient day, however, the business office is open on Fridays between 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Summer office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

We reserve a limited amount of time each day so that emergency patients may be scheduled quickly. If you have a problem requiring emergency treatment, please call us as early in the day as possible.

Cost, Payment & Financial Policies
The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient's problem. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options before treatment begins. In an effort to keep orthodontic fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established the following financial policy.

If full payment is made at the onset of treatment we will offer a fee discount. If you have insurance, and would like to make full payment on your portion at the onset of treatment, the fee discount will be figured on the portion of the fee not covered by insurance. To fit the needs of our patients, a financial arrangement can be made to extend your payments over a period of months following an appropriate down payment. In addition to the cash (or full payment) discount, we also offer discounts for multiple family members, military personnel, teachers, dental professionals and pastors or ministry workers.

For your convenience, we accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS, and bank debit card service. Other financing that does not require a down payment may be available through Chase Health Advance Financing Options. In cases of serious delinquency, treatment may be discontinued, although we will make every effort to accommodate our patients with temporary difficulties.

Insurance
If you have insurance, we will help you determine the coverage you have available. We ask that you assign your insurance benefit to us. The balance will be arranged for you to pay as noted above. Professional care is provided to you, our patient, and not to an insurance company. Thus, the insurance company is responsible to the patient and the patient is responsible to the doctor.

We are a preferred provider for United Concordia, Washington Dental Service and Regence dental insurance plans. We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.
